Entertaiment

Entertaiment: Articles

A word that suggests fun, laughter and sometimes satire, although many forms of entertainment have a serious purpose. From the Latin inter-tenere, meaning to hold inside, the word has evolved to include any form of enjoyment that holds attention. It may be a private amusement that allows the viewer to choose their entertainment from a vast array of pre-recorded products; a banquet for two, with a theme and music; or performances intended for thousands.
